Entrance Audition Requirements

Before the first lesson, there will be a no-charge audition where the teacher will perform some assessment to find out the student's level in piano. The student will also have a chance to ask the teacher any questions.

Fees

1. Private piano lessons (75 min per week for RCM grade 9 to ARCT, 60 min per week for RCM grade 5 to 8, 45 min per week for RCM grade 3 to 4, 30 min per week for beginner to RCM grade 2).

2. Young Artists School of Piano Concerts (bi-annual) fees are included in the lessons fee.
3. Young Artists School students participant Kiwanis or Canadian Music Competition entrance fee are not included in the lessons fee.

Payment Policy

1. We accept personal cheque only.
2. Students must pay a minimum of 4 lessons in advance.
3. Students must give at least 4 weeks advance notice for the early withdrawal of lessons. The unused portion of payment will be refunded on a pro rata basis.
4. Reservation cannot be made unless the lessons are paid for.
5. A $30 charge for non-sufficient fund (NSF) cheques.
6. Lesson fee for age 16+ students and students studying RCM grade 9+ may be eligible for income tax deduction.

Lesson Cancellation Policy

Lessons missed without 24 hour notice will be charged. Lessons missed due to emergency, a make-up lesson will be arranged. Should the teacher miss the class, a make-up lesson will be arranged.
